Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty falls firmly in the popular Soulsborne genre of games, and that means players will be in for a hurting when they hop in. While veteran players might not struggle too much with the game’s challenging combat, others will get all too used to seeing the death screen. As such, players will absolutely need to know every possible way to heal themselves in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. If not, they stand little to no chance against the Three Kingdoms’ harder enemies and bosses.

If you have been looking for ways to heal yourself in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, keep reading the guide below.

Heal yourself in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty

Let’s get the easiest way of healing yourself out of the way. At the start of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, you will have access to an inventory item called the Dragon’s Cure Pot, which is described as an item that “Restores HP when used.” At the beginning of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, you will have access to three of these pots at a time. When you use one, you will only have access to two, and so on. However, resting at a Battle Flag replenishes all of your Dragon’s Cure Pots, so you can continue to use them.

Speaking of the Battle Flags, this is the second way you can heal in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. Whenever you rest or raise a Battle Flag in an area, your Dragon’s Cure Pots will be replenished, but so will your HP. This means if you’re sitting at 10 HP and you raise a Battle Flag, your health will be returned to 100%.

These are the two primary ways that you can heal yourself. However, you need to be careful with the second method. While simply raising a Battle Flag won’t do anything but heal you and increase your Fortitude Rank, resting at a flag is another story. If you choose to rest at a Battle Flag, which is only possible at the larger flags, you will cause every enemy that you have killed in the area to respawn, aside from major bosses. For example, if you just beat Changgui, the demon tiger mini-boss, and then go back to rest at the Battle Flag nearby, the mini-boss will respawn upon you doing so.

As such, it’s important to only rest at a Battle Flag when you are moving forward or simply need more Dragon’s Cure Pots to get through an area.
