There are a myriad of confusing quests in the Resident Evil 4 Remake. From trying to solve various puzzles to finding very specific items somewhere on the map, you won’t be flying through every quest with flying colors. One of the quests that many players have gotten stuck on early in the Resident Evil 4 Remake is trying to find the Gold Chicken Egg.
If you’ve done a fair bit of searching so far, then you will likely have come across a plethora of eggs before. However, this egg is special, and the game will not tell you where to find it. Luckily, we know exactly where you need to go to secure yourself the Gold Chicken Egg in the Resident Evil 4 Remake.
Finding the Gold Chicken Egg in Resident Evil 4 Remake
For starters, you can access this quest after defeating the lake monster, Del Lago. This is important because after this boss encounter, Leon will be able to travel around the map much more freely due to getting access to a boat. This boat can be used to sail to all of the parts around the lake and some locations in the middle of it. For example, the Red9 pistol is found somewhere in the lake.
The Gold Chicken Egg is located in a small inlet just off the lake, though. If you look at the map of the lake, you will see this inlet is located directly off the eastern coast of the map. If you head to this location, you’ll find a chicken coop filled with chickens and normal eggs.
If you head to the back side of the chicken coop, near the wood-pole fence, you will find the Gold Chicken Egg lying on the ground.
Pick up the Gold Chicken Egg off the ground, and then you can proceed with the quest. This involves taking the egg to the Merchant in any one of their set locations. Turning in the egg will reward you with some exclusive mission items, such as the Treasure Map or a new weapon.
