Hateno Village is one of the most recognizable locations in Hyrule for players who experienced Zelda: Breath of the Wild in 2017. The location is where players could find Link’s house in the past and it’s also where several early game quests take you in Tears of the Kingdom. However, at the start of Tears of the Kingdom, your map is all blacked out, and players are unsure exactly where to find Hateno Village.

Luckily, we know exactly where you need to go to find the famed village in Hyrule. You can check out the guide below for the coordinates of Hateno Village as well as its exact location on the map.

Getting to Hateno Village in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Provided by Nintendo

For starters, Hateno Village is located in the far southern part of the map, south of Central Hyrule and southwest of Lanayru and Necluda. It’s found right under Necluda for additional context.

Since the village is so far south, you may want to ensure you are ready before embarking on the trek. This includes stocking up on weapons, arrows, armor, and food before making the trip, as you will undoubtedly run into enemies and other obstacles along the way. The exact coordinates for Hateno Village in Tears of the Kingdom are (3412, -2127, 0120).

To make your journey easier, you can use the Rabella Wetlands Skyview Tower near Central Hyrule to skydive your way toward the village. You can find this Skyview Tower at the coordinates: (2419, -2762, 0222). In any case, once you make it to Hateno Village, you will be able to accept a flurry of side quests, meet all new characters, and change the color of your armor and glider. You can read more about how to dye your armor in our recent Tears of the Kingdom guide.

Also, if you’re struggling to find the other villages in Hyrule, you can read our previous guide on finding every single village in the game. There are also village-specific guides on finding Rito Village and Karariko Village.
