How to find Rito Village in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Another village in Hyrule

From the very start of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you will have four different tasks that are spread out across the map of Hyrule. Of those four tasks, one of them requires you to visit the Hebra Region and, more specifically, Rito Village in Tears of the Kingdom. Villages in Hyrule can be extremely difficult to find, which is why I put together a list detailing how to find every single one of them.

Regarding Rito Village, though, players might need to know its precise location immediately if they want to travel to the Hebra Region to kick off their adventure. If you fall into this crowd or simply need to find Rito Village at some point, then we have you covered.

The entire Hebra Region can be found in the northwest part of the map, specifically northwest of Lookout Landing. If you follow the main road, you will eventually hit New Serenne Stable and find Hestu along the way as well. If you keep following along to the northwest, you will likely come across the Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower at coordinates -1901, 1243, 0297. This tower is important to unlock to access the rest of the region.

It’s at this point that you will also want to start putting on some cold resistant armor or eating warm foods. The northwest part of the map is frigid and will give you a cold debuff if you are not properly prepared. You can see exactly how to stay warm in Tears of the Kingdom in one of our previous guides.

Eventually, you will find the Lucky Clover Gazette and the Tabantha Bridge Stable. Just past this area, there is a broken bridge that you can use to get to Rito Village. However, in its current state, the bridge cannot be crossed. To cross it, all you need to do is drop a Hylian Pinecone on the ground, ignite it, and the resulting fire will create an updraft you can ride to get over the bridge.

From here, it’s a short walk to Rito Village, where you can meet Tulin and continue the story of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. If you want to keep exploring the Hebra Region, we suggest trying to find the Abandoned Hebra Mine, which is an integral part of another quest.
