How to breed Grizzbolt in Palworld

Hatch Grizzbolt on your own

Grizzbolt has become one of the most iconic Pals in the entire Paldeck of Palworld. Aside from being one of the poster Pals, Grizzbolt is also the first boss you encounter at the Rayne Syndicate Tower, making every player wonder how they can get one of their own.

Unfortunately, Grizzbolt can’t be caught in the wild until the end-game, which is especially disappointing for players looking to add a strong Electric-type to their party. But in Palworld, capturing a Pal isn’t the only way to acquire it. Instead of looking for Grizzbolt in the wild, you can breed it by putting two specific Pals in a Breeding Station.

To see exactly how to breed your own Grizzbolt in Palworld, keep reading my guide below.

Before we go any further, if you’re confused about how the Breeding Station works in Palworld, I suggest reading my previous guide. It goes over everything you need to know about setting up the station and how to get Pals to breed.

To sum it up, though, you need to craft a Breeding Station, place a Cake in the storage chest outside the station, and get a male/female version of the following Pals:

  • Male/female Mossanda + male/female Rayhound

It doesn’t matter whether Mossanda or Rayhound is male or female, so long as you have both a male and female in the Breeding Station. I went with a male Mossanda and a female Rayhound, but you can swap that if that’s what you have in your Palbox. You’re able to assign both of these Pals to the Breeding Station by physically throwing them inside the station. It might take some time, though, as Pals are reluctant to stay inside the station. You also want to ensure the Cake is inside the chest before you throw the Pals inside.

Once both Mossanda and Rayhound are in the Breeding Station with their cake, you should see the breeding progress bar start to fill. It takes around 10-15 minutes for the breeding to complete, and I recommend checking on the Breeding Station every now and again to ensure the Pals are staying in it.

After the breeding has completed, you’ll be left with a Huge Electric Egg, which contains Grizzbolt. Head to an Egg Incubator and place the Huge Electric Egg inside. Once the egg has been incubated, you can hatch it to acquire a level one Grizzbolt. I suggest incubating the egg at the perfect temperature if you want to hatch it as quickly as possible.

And there you have it, the full breeding process for Grizzbolt in Palworld. If you’re interested in how to breed Orserk in Palworld, check out my other guide.
