Palworld Cake farm: How to get more Cake fast

Have to keep your Pals fed

There are fewer items more important to your success in Palworld than Cake. While it might just sound like another food item that you can create at a cooking pot, Cake singlehandedly can improve your party exponentially.

Cake is the essential ingredient to make the Breeding Station work. Without some Cake in the storage chest outside of a Breeding Station, the two Pals you place inside won’t breed and thus, you don’t receive an egg to hatch. As many players have discovered, Cake is one of the most grueling food items to make in Palworld, so here’s a quick guide on how you can make more Cake faster.

Your first step to making Cake is to either craft a Cooking Pot or an Electric Kitchen in your base. The Cooking Pot is unlocked in the Technology menu far earlier than the Electric Kitchen, which isn’t unlocked until level 41. As such, you’ll be dealing with a Cooking Pot for the majority of the game.

If your goal is to make as much Cake as possible, I suggest crafting two or even three Cooking Pots/Electric Kitchens. This way, you can have multiple Cakes cooking at the same time.

In order to make the cooking stations go, though, you need to have Pals with the Kindling Work Suitability working in your base. I already did a guide that goes over the best Kindling Pals in Palworld, but here’s a short list of the best ones to use:

  • Jormuntide Ignis
  • Faleris
  • Suzaku
  • Blazamut
  • Ragnahawk
  • Wixen

I advise having the same number of Kindling Pals and cooking stations, that way all of the Pals will be able to cook a Cake at the same time. So, for example, if you have three Cooking Pots going, have three Kindling Pals working in your base. You also want to ensure you physically assign Pals to the cooking station so they finish the job quicker.

Finally, your last step is to ensure you have a solid supply of ingredients to actually make the Cakes. The recipe for Cake is as follows:

  • x5 Flour
  • x8 Red Berries
  • x7 Milk
  • x8 Egg
  • x2 Honey

For Flour, all you need is a Wheat Farm and a Mill. The Mill takes Wheat and turns it into Flour, giving you an unlimited supply if you have a proper Wheat Farm along with some Watering Pals. Red Berries just requires a Berry Farm somewhere in your base. I also suggest having a Feeding Box close to both of these farms, as that’s where your Pals will place the food once it’s harvested.

Milk and Eggs can be obtained in a couple of ways. First, you can make a Ranch inside your base and assign Chikpi and Mozzarina to it. Chikpi makes Eggs when on a Ranch and Mozzarina makes Milk, which they drop on the ground. You can build a chest near the Ranch for Pals to transport these items to, but be warned that they will spoil after some time. You can also purchase Milk and Eggs at a Wandering Merchant, whose location I outlined in a previous guide.

Finally, Honey is acquired by killing or capturing Beegarde, which are located in the northeastern part of the map. This will be the toughest ingredient to get, so when you go out to get Honey, try to get a lot of it.

And there you have it, that’s the most efficient way to go about getting Cake in Palworld.
