Best Palworld Pals for Kindling Work Suitability in the early-game

The best fire Pals around

If you are going to cook any kind of food or produce Ingots through the Furnace in Palworld, then you need some Pals with the Kindling Work Suitability.

Kindling is required for any base station that has to do with fire and you need Pals with that particular Work Suitability to power those stations. Kindling is symbolized by the campfire icon under a Pal’s Work Suitability stats, which you can see through the Palbox Management menu or by clicking on individual Pals in your party.

Even if you know you need a Pal with the Kindling trait, though, that doesn’t mean you know which Pals in the early game have that particular trait. To see a list of every early game Pal with the Kindling Work Suitability in Palworld, check out the guide below.

Basically, if you know a Pal is a Fire type, then it has the Kindling Work Suitability in some fashion. Just like all Water type Pals have the Watering trait, Fire types always have the campfire icon under Work Suitability.

However, there aren’t too many Fire types to go around in the early game of Palworld. The one you will likely find earlier than others in Foxparks, which is a small fire fox with a flaming tail. Foxparks is found in high quantities to the south and right around the Rayne Syndicate Tower. You can even find them just steps away from where you started on your island in Palworld. For the very early portion of Palworld, Foxparks is your best option to have the Kindling Work Suitability present in your base.

There are a few more enticing options once you go past the Rayne Syndicate Tower in Palworld, though. Here’s a list of some early-ish Fire types you can find by venturing around the map:

  • Arsox
  • Wixen
  • Incineram
  • Rooby
  • Kelpsea Ignis
  • Flambelle
  • Vanwyrm

Most of these Fire types are located in a specific spot on the map, which is found to the northeast of the Rayne Syndicate Tower. I have a map screenshot of that location below.

At the red and purple ravine on the map, you will find tons of Fire types at varying levels. The Wixen there are around level 16-17 while Foxparks, Flambelle, Rooby, and Kelpsea Ignis are all roughly level 10-13. This is the best place to visit if you want a plethora of Fire types to choose from in Palworld. The journey to reach this location isn’t too bad and you will only see lower levels on your way there. If you want Vanwyrm, Arsox, or Incineram, though, you have to travel to the north and west of the Rayne Syndicate Tower.

I recommend going after Arsox or Wixen if you truly want the best Pal for Kindling, as both of them have a (2) instead of a (1) in the stat. This means they’ll be much faster producing resources that require Kindling. However, if you’re still in the early hours of Palworld, Foxparks is sufficient enough until you can capture a higher-level Pal.
