While the battle royale genre is extremely saturated, Naraka: Bladepoint has managed to stand out. So much so, that fans on PS4 are asking if Naraka: Bladepoint will ever launch for the last-generation console.
Naraka: Bladepoint started out as a PC exclusive title in 2021, launching on Steam. However, as time passed and the game grew in popularity, the developers began to add more ports, including ones for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S as well as PS5. You can even play Naraka: Bladepoint on GeForce Now if your PC doesn’t have the right hardware to maintain a high FPS. The one system missing from Naraka: Bladepoint is the PS4, and fans still on the console are wondering if a release date for it is ever coming.
Is Naraka: Bladepoint coming to PS4?
Unfortunately, at the time of writing, there is currently no indication the developers at 24 Entertainment are working on a port for the PS4. While this is certainly subject to change in the future, there are no official plans for a PS4 release.
Many fans have speculated this is because the limitations of the PS4’s hardware are too much to overcome. The lack of an SSD, which Naraka: Bladepoint is recommended to run on, is presumably one of the major sticking points for why the game has yet to be released for PS4. However, the developers have been making strides recently to make the game run better on standard hard drives for PC players, so it’s possible this could translate for the PS4 as well.

Still, though, the PS4 is over a decade old at this point, and Naraka: Bladepoint struggles with FPS and stability on high-end PCs. It doesn’t look like a PS4 release is in the cards for the battle royale, but the developers have yet to completely rule it out.
