This relatively new battle royale mainly sees players use melee weapons to take down their opponents in a 60-player arena. As the game continues to grow in popularity, more and more players are curious about what it has to offer. Naraka: Bladepoint specifically got a massive boost when it was released on PlayStation 5, joining Xbox and PC. Regardless of what system you play Naraka: Bladepoint on, though, you might be curious if you can take advantage of crossplay to party up with your friends.

You can see whether or not Naraka: Bladepoint offers crossplay, and cross-platform progression, in the guide below.

There’s good news and bad news when it comes to the crossplay functionalities in Naraka: Bladepoint. The good news is that crossplay is available in the battle royale, but the bad news is that this is only to an extent. There are certain restrictions when it comes to certain platforms trying to play together.

First off, crossplay in Naraka: Bladepoint is currently limited by region. This means you can only use crossplay to play with people who are in your area of the world. You can technically switch your region in-game, but this is going to massively increase your latency.

Next, the Xbox and PC versions of Naraka: Bladepoint have some restrictions on what platforms they can use crossplay with. The official FAQ for Naraka: Bladepoint states that Xbox players can only use crossplay with players using the Microsoft Store version on PC and vice versa. This means if you’re on either Xbox or PC running a Microsoft Store copy, you are limited to using crossplay with players on the other system. However, you are also to turn off crossplay regardless of what platform you’re on, so you can fully choose to only play with and against users on the same platform as you.

Is there cross-progression in Naraka: Bladepoint?

Luckily, cross-progression is much more simple. If you’re on Xbox or the Microsoft Store version on PC, you have access to cross-progression.

However, if you’re using another PC version, such as the one on Epic Games or Steam, you will not be able to use cross-progression with Xbox or PS5. Speaking of PS5, this platform doesn’t have access to cross-progression on any other platform.

The developers of Naraka: Bladepoint continue to update the game every few weeks, so the restrictions for crossplay and cross-progression may start to be lifted in the future. For now, though, there are some caveats with both features.
