Coruscant is the first planet that you get the chance to explore in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. It’s where the game begins and where you will spend the first hour or so as Cal Kestis in the sequel to Fallen Order. However, after Cal leaves the planet on the Mantis to head to Koboh and find Greez, you will find that returning to Coruscant is not an option.
Once you get the Mantis restored and use the ship’s holotable to navigate the galaxy, Coruscant is not a planet you can return to. This is strange for some players, as you are constantly bouncing back and forth between planets, such as Koboh, throughout the game. However, there is eventually a way to return to Coruscant in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, you just have to wait for the right time.
Below, you can see exactly when you get the chance to return to Coruscant.
Returning to Coruscant in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
Before you can return to Coruscant, you need to reach a certain point in the story. This point in the story is completing the quest at the Pilgrim’s Sanctuary on Jedha. Once you have completed that quest and gone back into the Mantis to travel to a different planet, Cal will make a comment saying that Coruscant is now open again.
From this point, you can visit the Mantis’ holotable and select Coruscant as your next destination. Greez will then fire up the Mantis, and you will get the chance to explore Coruscant once again. This is perfect for players who want to go back and explore areas that are now accessible to Cal with his new abilities. For example, the green barriers can now be passed through and other areas are reachable thanks to new movement capabilities.
