How to get Bones in Palworld

Not every Pal has bones, apparently

You might think Bones would be one of the easier resources to get in Palworld, as one of the goals of the game is to kill creatures and collect their loot. However, Bones don’t drop from a lot of Pals, so you need to find specific Pals to acquire the resource from.

Bones are a vital resource that are used in a variety of crafting recipes, both in the early and late game. There is only a handful of Pals that have the chance to drop Bones when you kill or capture them. Of these select few, only a couple are found in the earlier regions of the map, meaning you have to explore a little bit to get what you need.

Here’s a list of every Pal that can drop Bones in Palworld:

  • Anubis
  • Bushi
  • Cawgnito
  • Gorirat
  • Loupmoon
  • Maraith
  • Rushroar
  • Vanwyrm
  • Vanwyrm Cryst
  • Vixy

Rushroar, Vixy, and Vanwyrm are the earliest Pals you can see on the map, so I recommend targeting them for your Bone hunting. Of course, if you’re looking for an easy challenge, then the dainty Vixy is the best Pal to go after for Bones, as the Pal doesn’t put up much of a fight and is found at low levels. Both Vixy and Rushroar are located in the areas surrounding Rayne Syndicate Tower while Vanwyrm is more spread out.

If you have registered any of these Pals in your Paldeck, you can check their habitats by selecting their page in the Paldeck. This tells you exactly where you can find them on the map. Once you do find any of the Pals that can drop Bones, simply kill or capture them and you’ll usually get one or two Bones in your inventory.
