How to find and beat Blazamut in Palworld and all rewards

Blazamut is one of the end-game Pals in Palworld, with its Alpha form being level 49 and placed in one of the most dangerous regions on the map.

While it might take some serious training to face Blazamut, you might run into some trouble before you even get to the fight. Like with some other high-level Alphas, Blazamut isn’t in the easiest-to-reach location. You’ll have to go to an entirely different location to reach Alpha Blazamut, which I go over in the guide below as well as how to defeat it and the rewards for doing so in Palworld.

Alpha Blazamut location in Palworld

While the icon for Alpha Blazamut is located just above the Ancient Civilization Ruins waypoint on the map, that’s not where you need to go to find the Pal. Instead, you have to go to the northeast of the icon’s location on the map, which is where you’ll discover a mineshaft that leads into the cave where Alpha Blazamut resides.

On the map screenshot below, you can see exactly where you need to go to find the mineshaft:

You’ll have to keep a close eye on the mountains around this location, as the mineshaft is hard to spot. It’s found at the base of a mountain after you’ve climbed up some steep terrain. Once you find the mineshaft, enter and you’ll eventually reach Alpha Blazamut after navigating the tight pathway.

Defeating Alpha Blazamut in Palworld

Blazamut is a pure Fire-type in Palworld, meaning your best bet to defeat it is to use Water-type attacks. The Alpha has 3,680 HP, which isn’t too bad if you’re able to deal super-effective damage with Water moves. I used Jormuntide to deal the majority of my damage against Alpha Blazamut, but you can use whatever Water-type Pal you choose.

As for your character, I recommend bringing a Pump-Action Shotgun or Assault Rifle to deal your own damage. Both of these weapons are highly effective and deal massive damage if you can critically hit Alpha Blazamut in the head.

Once you’ve dealt enough damage to Alpha Blazamut, you’ll want to use Legendary Spheres to capture it. At 500 HP and lower, your capture rate with a Legendary Sphere will be roughly 25-30%, which is still low. Ultra Spheres also work, but the capture rate with them is less than 10%.
