If you are traveling with Astarion in your party in Baldur’s Gate 3, then you will likely need to reach Cazador’s Palace at some point during Act 3. Cazador is Astarion’s former master and the one who turned him into a vampire. However, now that Astarion has decided to break free from Cazador’s chains and has learned of a ritual that requires his attendance, he needs to return to his former home.
Cazador’s Palace is located in the Lower City region of BG3 and is seemingly not the simplest place to reach. The entrance to it is on top of a stone wall that is not accessible by many traditional means. Luckily, there are a couple of ways to reach the top of the stone wall and eventually Cazador’s Palace.
Reaching Cazador’s Palace in BG3
Fortunately for everyone, the entrance to the stone wall is not as difficult to find as it seems. All you need to do is go to the Lower City Central Wall waypoint, which is located right in the middle of the Lower City. Here, you will find a small building guarded by two Flaming Fists just above the waypoint.

In between the guards will be a door that you can open freely. This door leads into the Central Watch Tower, which has several flights of stairs that eventually lead to the top of the stone wall.
From here, it’s a simple matter of going to your quest marker for Cazador’s Palace. Along the way, you will run into some of Astarion’s former colleagues, who you need to treat nicely, or else combat will begin. After some walking, you will reach the front door to Cazador’s Palace, which you can enter and continue Astarion’s questline in BG3.
