Saturday saw the bracket stage of the Apex Legends Global Series Split 2 playoffs, which started with the winners bracket matches to determine the tournament’s top ten teams. 20 teams competed to secure a place in the ALGS Split 2 playoffs finals and avoid dropping into the second round of the losers bracket.

These are the top ten teams in the ALGS Split 2 playoffs, who will advance to the finals on Sunday and retain points towards the match point format.

  7. Reignite

  10. Alliance

After a strong performance on Friday that got them into second overall in the tournament, OpTic Gaming stepped it up again to take the top spot in the lobby heading into the finals.

“I feel amazing,” said OpTic’s Ira “dooplex” Shepherd in a post-game interview. “We got those ten points going into the finals. We feel confident that we can take the dub.”

These teams weren’t able to secure a top ten spot and will have to compete in the second round of the losers bracket for another chance at making it to the finals and another shot at OpTic.

The top ten from this group will then face those who dropped from the winners bracket to battle it out for the last ten spots in the ALGS Split 2 Playoffs finals and a bigger share of the $1,000,000 prize pool.
