ALGS split 2 playoffs group stage results

Friday marked the first day of the Apex Legends Global Series Split 2 playoffs. The forty teams from across the globe competed in the ALGS Split 2 playoffs group stage to start, running through 18 games to place into either the winners or losers bracket, depending on their performance. There were some surprising and disappointing showings, but we know which teams made the top twenty and which will have to fight their way out of the bottom.

ALGS Split 2 playoffs winners bracket teams

Only the top twenty teams were seeded into the winners bracket for the ALGS Split 2 playoffs. These teams will have a bit of a cushion between them and elimination going into their bracket runs, as they will still be able to play in the losers bracket if they fall in the winners.

Losers bracket teams

These teams failed to place in the top 20 and will have to fight their way out of the losers bracket to have any chance at the finals. They’re all facing elimination, so if they slip up in this stage, it’s all over for this event.

The bracket stage of the ALGS Split 2 playoffs will begin on Saturday, starting with the winners bracket at 5 a.m. ET. The first round of the losers bracket will start at 9:15 a.m. ET and the second round will start at 1:15 p.m ET. The teams that make it through the bracket stage will advance to the finals where they’ll compete in the match point format to see who will take home the first ALGS LAN trophy.
