The ALGS Split 2 playoffs losers bracket ended with 10 teams clinching their ticket to the Grand Finals after two rounds of six matches. Round 1 of the losers bracket began with the teams that failed to make it into the top 20 on Friday.
Europe, Middle East and Africa’s GMT Esports bounced back from their poor showing in Day 1 and placed first in the losers bracket with 72 points in total. The team managed to forge on despite missing Maksym “Max-Stafe” Stadniuk due to the ongoing crisis in Ukraine.
Meanwhile, big names like G2 Esports, Crazy Raccoon and Acend Esports crashed out of the ALGS Split 2 Playoffs.

ALGS Split 2 playoffs loser bracket round 2 results
The top 10 teams from Round 1 joined the bottom 10 in the winners bracket to compete for a spot in the ALGS Split 2 Playoff finals. After six matches are played, these are the 10 teams that will join the finals on Sunday:

The APAC North Region maintained consistent performance throughout Round 2 of the losers bracket with 4 of their teams qualifying for the finals. Moreover, APAC South’s Team Burger also continued its Cinderella story with a fourth-place finish. The Australian team came into the tournament unsigned and will continue their run in the finals tomorrow.
Additionally, Brazil Elevate stunned everyone with an insane win in the last match to move from last place to ninth. They also became the only South American team heading into ALGS Split 2 Playoffs finals.
