Sons of the Forest is a sequel to the highly acclaimed survival game, The Forest, which was originally released in 2014. Now, nearly a decade later, and the developers at Newnight are giving fans an entirely new experience. The game will still have horror and survival elements, featuring new, terrifying enemies and the ability to craft your own house, weapons, and food. Unlike The Forest, Sons of the Forest will be an open world title, meaning fans have much more to see and do. For those on PC, you might be wondering if this means Sons of the Forest will have some stricter hardware requirements.
If you played The Forest, then you likely know you could run that game on a potato machine and still get good graphics and high frames per second. With Sons of the Forest releasing nine years after its predecessor, players will need more modern hardware to run the game. However, just how modern are we talking? Read below to find out more.
