Scout Striders are the name of the bipedal mechs that you face during your adventures in Helldivers 2. They are a part of the Automaton faction, and new enemies fresh to the game. These mechs look just like the AT-STs from Star Wars, so you might have heard them referred to as that by other players. The big difference between these two is that, unlike AT-STs, the back of this vehicle leaves its pilot vulnerable.

This machinery can be an extremely tough fight as you won’t be able to take out the enemy unless you get behind. From the front enemies are completely protected by the vehicle, but the back is exposed. Simply make your way to the back and you can take down the enemy with ease using normal weaponry.

With this advice, you shouldn’t have any trouble identifying and eliminating these mechs when you encounter them on the battlefield.
