The TAC-50 is arguably the best long range weapon currently available to use in XDefiant. Unlike something like the M44, the TAC-50 is meant to be used as a tactical sniper rifle that can pick enemies off from great distances. Of course, some players might also want to run around the map and quickscope at enemies at mid-range, as that’s where a sniper can be the most enjoyable.
If this is the case for you, then you will need the right loadout for the TAC-50 to do some serious damage in XDefiant.
With no attachments equipped, the TAC-50 is quite a slow weapon that features high damage and a slower rate of fire. Basically, the intention behind this sniper is for players to sit back, scope in on a target at long-range, and be able to kill them instantly with a well-placed shot. The best set of attachments for the TAC-50 reinforces this, but also adds a little mobility to the sniper so players can move around the map if they choose.

My intention behind this loadout is to give players enough mobility so they can aim in quickly if they have to. However, players will not be losing any of the TAC-50’s damage with this loadout, meaning they still won’t be seeing many hitmarkers if they are able to land a shot onto an enemy. I have also equipped the Variable Zoom scope on the loadout, which gives players the option of playing at mid-range or long-range.
