The best TAC-50 loadout in XDefiant

There are currently two sniper rifles in XDefiant, the M44 and TAC-50. These snipers are sort of the yin to each other’s yang; the M44 is more proficient at close-range and quickscoping while the TAC-50 is meant to be a long-range monster that one-shot kills anything in its path. Depending on your personal preference when it comes to a sniper, you might be looking at the TAC-50 as your gun of choice.

If this is the case, then you will need the right loadout for the TAC-50 to do some serious damage in XDefiant.

With no attachments equipped, the TAC-50 is quite a slow weapon that features high damage and a slower rate of fire. Basically, the intention behind this sniper is for players to sit back, scope in on a target at long-range, and be able to kill them instantly with a well-placed shot. The best set of attachments for the TAC-50 reinforces this, but also adds a little mobility to the sniper so players can move around the map if they choose.

• Barrel: Lightweight
• Optics: Variable Zoom
• Magazine: Quick Mag
• Rear Grip: Quick Draw
• Stock: Padded

My intention behind this loadout is to give players enough mobility so they can aim in quickly if they have to. However, players will not be losing any of the TAC-50’s damage with this loadout, meaning they still won’t be seeing many hitmarkers if they are able to land a shot onto an enemy. I have also equipped the Variable Zoom scope on the loadout, which gives players the option of playing at mid-range or long-range.
