What legends should you use in Season 4 Ranked Play?

Though we’re now playing on Kings Canyon instead of World’s Edge, not too much has changed. From the looks of it, competitive players are still using the same legends as they did in the first split. If you’re unaware of what those legends are, we’re here to help.

First up, the one legend on pretty much every team in Ranked Play is Wraith. This otherworldly legend has been the most popular pick since before Season 1 and still is to this day. Her portals are not only useful for you, but for your team as well. This especially applies to her Dimensional Rift ultimate ability, which is best used before entering a fight or high-profile area.

Next up on the list is Pathfinder, the friendly robot of Apex Legends. For pretty much the same reasons as Wraith, Pathfinder is great at getting your team out of sticky situations. With its zipline ultimate ability, you can either zip towards a fight quickly or escape in a matter of seconds.

However, the biggest thing to master with Pathfinder is its grappling tactical ability. Make sure you’re getting the most of this grapple in order to maximize your effectiveness. If you’re not sure how to do this, you’ll want to seek out some videos on the subject.

Lastly, we have Wattson, who is perhaps most important on any Apex Legends team in Ranked Play. While her ultimate ability does come in handy with restoring shields, it’s Wattson’s tactical ability that gives her the edge over any other legend.

Perimeter Security, her tactical ability, allows you to place fences around doorways or any open area. If used correctly, this can lock down a single building or small area. Your enemies won’t be able to pass through without you knowing, and the gates will hurt them and slow them down. On Kings Canyon, where there are a ton of small buildings, this is incredibly useful.

That’s our list for the best legends to use in Ranked Series 3! Make sure to keep up with Daily Esports for all Apex Legends news.
