New Easter event could arrive soon in Apex Legends Season 4

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

The future is exciting if you’re an Apex Legends fan. While the System Override event just ended, Season 4 will introduce a second split to Ranked Series 3 on Tuesday, March 24. Not only will this provide a rank reset, but Kings Canyon will return to the fold full-time. Also, we have rumors surrounding a new Town Takeover for Bloodhound. We don’t have a ton of details, but one leak just surfaced that may give us an insight as to when Respawn plans on introducing the new location.

Apex Legends receiving a new event soon?

Earlier this month, we reported on a leak that Respawn has a Town Takeover revolving around Bloodhound in the works. There’s nothing official on the matter, but leaks of this caliber rarely peter out, so there’s a reason for hope.

While we don’t have any additional details on the takeover itself, a new leak may have told us when we can expect it to arrive. Apex Legends data-miner @iLootGames recently found a string of code in the files that relate to Easter.

From the above screenshot, it appears that an Easter event is on the way to Apex Legends. The timing makes sense, as System Override will have been long gone by the time the holiday rolls around. Also, it looks like new animations for Pathfinder’s Heirloom will arrive around then as well.

In regards to Bloodhound’s Town Takeover, the event itself could also introduce the new location. We’ve seen this before, like with the Holo-Day Bash event introducing the Mirage Voyage. Perhaps the Easter event will have something to do with Bloodhound’s background. That could give us a reason for the new Town Takeover.

We’re still not entirely sure, but more leaks may surface soon. In the meantime, keep up with Daily Esports for all Apex Legends news.
