New Apex Legends Town Takeover featuring Bloodhound leaked

Apex Legends is right in the middle of the System Override event, which is scheduled to end next Tuesday. With this event, we saw Respawn debut Octane’s Heirloom Set as well as some new temporary mechanics that could stick around in the future. However, if you’ve been playing Apex Legends for a while, then you know Respawn likes to keep the battle royale fresh. While they do this with in-game events like System Override, they also introduce Town Takeovers. This is where one section of the map is dedicated to one particular legend. Well, according to a leak, a new Town Takeover is set to debut soon and feature the tracker legend Bloodhound.

Bloodhound Town Takeover coming soon?

Since Christmas time, Mirage has had the Town Takeover on the World’s Edge map. On the western side of the map, the Mirage Voyage is docked and is considered by many to be a decent location for loot and action.

However, it is starting to get stale, as it’s been in Apex Legends for almost three months. Before Mirage’s takeover, we saw both Octane and Wraith receive their own location, though these were both on Kings Canyon. World’s Edge has only seen the Mirage Voyage, but that might change soon.

According to data-miner @Shrugtal, Bloodhound’s Town Takeover has been seen in the files of Apex Legends. According to this leak, Respawn will release a teaser for the takeover on Mar. 31 at 10:00 a.m. PST.

Of course, this can’t be verified by any other source. However, Shrugtal is rarely incorrect with his data-mined information, so this is worth noting. If Bloodhound does receive a Town Takeover, it would most likely take place on the World’s Edge map. Kings Canyon will return to Apex Legends, yes, but only in Ranked, so it wouldn’t make sense to feature the takeover on that map.

There’s no word on a location for the Town Takeover, but it will most likely take place in a less-populated area of the map. More leaks could arrive in the coming weeks, so stay tuned to Daily Esports for all updates on this story!
