Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is a surprisingly strong action RPG from developer Don’t Nod that was just released on Feb. 13. It features compelling gameplay, an intriguing story, and meaningful characters that are directly affected by the choices you make. While Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is available on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and PlayStation 5, do Xbox Game Pass users get to join in on the fun?
Any Game Pass subscriber needs to know if a game they want to play is coming to the service at launch or in the future, as that saves them from spending extra money on purchasing the game separately. If you’re a Game Pass user who wants to play Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, you can see whether or not it’s coming to the service in the guide below.
Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden on Xbox Game Pass
Unfortunately, at launch, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is not a Game Pass title. It’s unclear exactly why the developers at Don’t Nod made this decision, but right now, the title is not available through the subscription service.
However, this is not to say that it never will arrive on Game Pass. We’ve seen dozens of games eventually come to Game Pass after their initial launch, and Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden could follow that same trend. It’s also worth noting that developer Don’t Nod has some of its previous titles, such as Life is Strange, available on Game Pass, so the studio is no stranger to Microsoft’s service.

As of right now, though, there’s no indication the same will happen with Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. Perhaps after the initial launch window has passed and the developers have more time, they’ll make an official announcement regarding any plans for a Game Pass release.
