During the early part of the Resident Evil 4 Remake, you will come across the Castle section of the game. This is quite a large area, and it’s full of loot, different sights to see, enemies to kill, and some interesting story aspects. However, one of the more intriguing parts of the chapter is when players come across the Lithograph puzzle, which can be quite confusing at first glance in the Resident Evil 4 Remake. This is not a puzzle that you can complete as soon as you stumble across it. Instead, you will require a few different items in order to complete the puzzle. We explain everything about solving the Lithograph puzzle in the Resident Evil 4 Remake in the guide below.

Solving the Lithograph puzzle in Resident Evil 4 Remake

Before you can even think about solving the Lithograph puzzle, you will need three different stones. These stones are right near the location of the puzzle, luckily, so you won’t need to go too far to find them. You can see the locations of these Lithograph Stones below:

  • First Lithograph Stone – Directly to the right of the puzzle
  • Second Lithograph Stone – On top of some books on a bookshelf
  • Third Lithograph Stone – Inside of a glass display that’s hanging on the wall. Break the glass to get the stone

With all three stones in hand, you can return to the puzzle and start to complete it. On the puzzle screen, you can see that the fourth and final Lithographic Stone is already in place.

To solve this puzzle, you will need to turn all of the stones to their correct position. There are images that appear on the stone with a shape and an icon inside of the colored border. You need to match the shape and icon correctly for all four stones. You can alternate the stones’ images by using L1/R1 and LB/RB. To see the right answers, look below.

  • Left Stone – Red Helmet inside of a red Hexagon
  • Bottom Stone – Black Platebody Armor inside of a black Hexagon
  • Right Stone – Black Sword inside of a black Square
  • Top Stone – Red Shield inside of a red Square

Once all of the stones are in the correct position, the Lithograph puzzle will be complete and you can progress in the Resident Evil 4 Remake.
