Depending on what difficulty level you choose in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, your first hour or two with the game could be extremely challenging. This is primarily because of how much damage Cal takes from enemies, as even a mere B1 Droid can be a tough foe to take down.
If players are struggling to keep their health up, then they might be wondering if there are ways to increase their maximum health in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
While this won’t fix all of a player’s issues if they are continually dying, it will certainly help them survive longer during combat. Luckily, there are a couple of ways to increase Cal’s maximum health in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, which you can read about in the guide below.
Increasing your maximum Health in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
The first and simplest way of increasing the total number of hitpoints you have is to unlock certain Skills. You gain access to the Skills menu early on in Survivor, and you can spend skill points at any Meditation Point.
The Skill that lets you increase your maximum health is found under the Survival section and it’s the first Skill available in this section. The Skill is called Survival Skills and it simply increases your maximum life, which equates to the same thing as health.
The other way you can go about increasing your health is to find Health Essence. This is a lootable item in Survivor and can be found in off-the-beaten-path areas on the various levels of the game. For example, I was able to find my first Health Essence on Koboh near the Gorocco nest. This is an area that is not near the main story route of the level. You can find this area by crossing the bridge to the left of the Derelict Dam Meditation Point on Koboh.
Once you loot the Health Essence, your max health will be increased. Health Essence is found as a glowing purple crystal on the ground.
Aside from those two methods, I was not able to find any additional ways of increasing Cal’s max health. This article will be updated if any other ways are discovered, though.
