How to get Gohr’s Devastating Grips in Diablo 4

A unique pair of gloves in Diablo 4

There are some pieces of gear that fit a certain build like a glove in Diablo 4. Now, of course, these gear pieces don’t actually have to be gloves, but it’s nice when the simile matches up and the gear actually is a pair of gloves. In this case, Gohr’s Devastating Grips are the perfect gloves for a Whirlwind Barbarian in Diablo 4.

Gohr’s Devastating Grips are a pair of unique gloves that have terrific affixes and a Legendary Aspect to complement the Whirlwind skill for the Barbarian class. The gloves have four affixes: a boost to non-physical damage, ranks of Whirlwind, extra attack speed, and increased lucky hit chance. The Legendary Aspect that comes equipped on the gloves has the following effect: “Whirlwind explodes after it ends, dealing [16-26]% of the total base damage dealt to surrounding enemies as Fire damage.”

Naturally, Whirlwind Barbarians will want Gohr’s Devastating Grips as quickly as possible. Below, you can see exactly how to acquire them in Diablo 4.

As a Whirlwind Barbarian myself, I was lucky to acquire Gohr’s Devastating Grips within a few hours of stepping into World Tier 3. However, like all other unique items in Diablo 4, Gohr’s Devastating Grips are a random loot drop, meaning you have no way of affecting how quickly you acquire them.

For starters, though, you need to be on World Tier 3 or 4 to have any chance of seeing them drop. After that, you simply need to get lucky. I suggest completing Helltide events and opening Tortured Gift chests with 250 cinders or running Nightmare Dungeons. You can also complete Tree of Whisper quests and open caches that specialize in gloves.

Other than that, though, you just have to play Diablo 4 and hope that the gods grant you favor. It might take hours before you find the gloves, though, so be prepared.
