There are dozens of references to the Harry Potter books and films in Hogwarts Legacy. From the Transfiguration spell’s icon being a rat as a wine glass to there being a bathroom stall with Polyjuice Potion brewing in it, players will spend hours discovering all of the secrets Hogwarts Legacy has to offer. However, one of the secrets in Hogwarts Legacy is the Chamber of Secrets, which is a part of the overall lore of the Wizarding World as a whole.
As Harry Potter fans know, the Chamber of Secrets is a location where Salazar Slytherin, one of the four Hogwarts founders, hid a giant monster that would be unleashed upon half-bloods once a worthy heir to Slytherin emerged. While fans cannot visit the actual chamber, they can see the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets in Hogwarts Legacy.
Finding the Chamber of Secrets in Hogwarts Legacy
The entrance to the Chamber of Secrets is in the lower-school girl’s bathroom. As portrayed in the second Harry Potter film, the entrance is a specific sink that is marked with the sign of Slytherin and requires someone to speak Parseltongue to open it.
If you want to find that specific bathroom and sink, you need to fast travel to the Lower Grand Staircase Floo Flame. Once here, go down the staircase nearby and then turn right at the end of it. Head down the end of the hallway and turn right again. There will be a door here, which is the girl’s bathroom you are searching for. You should be in the Slytherin Dungeon, for reference, which you can see by looking at the bottom-left of the screen.
In the bathroom, you will recognize your surroundings instantly if you saw the second Harry Potter film. The location looks exactly like it did in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. If you approach the sinks, you will see one of them marked with the Slytherin logo. Also, if you cast Revelio near the sinks, you can collect a Field Guide Page that comments on the snake symbol on the sink.
Unfortunately, that’s all you can do in regard to the Chamber of Secrets. Since you can’t bring Ominis Gaunt, the only person we know who speaks Parseltongue, to the bathroom, you won’t be able to enter the chamber.
