There are tons of new additions to Cyberpunk 2077 with the Phantom Liberty expansion, but one of the larger features added with the DLC is Relic Points. Relic Points are only usable on the new Relic Perk Tree, which is an add-on to your existing skill trees. However, the Relic Perk Tree only uses the Relic Points, which are earned much differently than traditional skill points.
The Relic Perk Tree offers new abilities for the four melee cyberware abilities as well as some other additions to your various skills. While the perk tree won’t be nearly as useful as the base ones in Cyberpunk 2077, you will still need to know where to find Relic Points so you can test out some of the new abilities.
Here’s exactly how and where to earn Relic Points in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty.
Finding Relic Points in Cyberpunk 2077
The only way you can earn Relic Points is by visiting specific data terminals in the new region of Dogtown. You won’t find these data terminals outside of Dogtown’s walls, so don’t bother making the trip to another region of Night City looking for more.
You can find these data terminals by looking for a blue “R” icon on your map. This icon is the same one that you find in the center of the Relic Perk Tree in your menu. They are scattered all around Dogtown and the icons will only appear on your map as you get close to them, so you will need to do some exploring if you want to earn enough Relic Points to fill out the perk tree.
I was able to find them in more secluded areas, like at the back of a parking garage or underneath a building. Once you find one, simply approach it, download the data from it by interacting with the terminal, and you will successfully add one Relic Point to your character.
The Relic Perk Tree’s perks require a varying amount of Relic Points to acquire, so you will need to find more than a handful to completely fill out the tree.
