How to find Crushed Beast Bones in Diablo 4

An important crafting ingredient

One of the main points of progression in Diablo 4 is upgrading your healing potion potency. This is done at various levels through an Alchemist, such as Veroka in Kyovashad. Once you hit the necessary level, you can travel to an Alchemist and upgrade the amount of healing each of your potions do. However, before doing that, you need to hand over a certain number of ingredients. Early on in Diablo 4, one of those ingredients is Crushed Beast Bones, and many players will not know where to find this particular resource.

Personally, I went several hours before finding any Crushed Beast Bones in Diablo 4, and this was after I spent time dedicated to finding them. It’s not a simple item to find, but you need it to upgrade to a Light Healing Potion. There are other uses for the bones as well, such as making Elixirs, but the Light Healing Potion is the main recipe you will require.

If you want to find Crushed Beast Bones in Diablo 4, then take a look below at my step-by-step guide to do so.

As the name suggests, Crushed Beast Bones are found by killing beasts. I had the most luck killing werewolves, bears, Lycan creatures, and other large, furry animals. For the most part, Scosglen should have all of the beasts that you require. You will want to at least head out of Fractured Peaks, as the snowy landscape does not provide many of the beasts you seek. Try either Scoslgen or Dry Steppes, which is where Acts 2 and 3 are located.

Although, if you want to stay in Fractured Peaks, I have confirmed that a cellar, called Disturbed Grave, gives out a varying amount of Crushed Beast Bones as a chest reward. This cellar is located directly to the east of Margrave in southern Fractured Peaks.

After purging the cellar and opening the chest, you will receive anywhere between 3-5 Crushed Beast Bones. The cellar itself is not difficult, so it shouldn’t take you too long to complete it.

Beyond that, you simply have to get lucky and hope that a beast drops you the Crushed Beast Bones you’re after. I have also heard you can acquire Crushed Beast Bones from opening caches that you receive for completing side quests. However, I was not able to confirm this.
