How to easily win at Summoner’s Court in Hogwarts Legacy

Beat no matter who's on the other end of the board

During your first couple of classes in Hogwarts Legacy, you will get to play a mini-game called Summoner’s Court. Basically, this game is magical shuffleboard, as players must use the Accio spell to drag wooden balls across a multi-colored board. The colors on the board represent a number, with the colors most near the balls are worth less than the colors farthest away from the balls. In Hogwarts Legacy, red is worth 0 points, orange 20 points, green 30 points, and blue 50 points.

The player’s goal is to score the most amount of points against another player. There are three balls for each player to score with. The player with the most combined points with these three balls at the end of the game will be declared the winner. While Summoner’s Court can be explained easily enough, actually getting the balls where you want them can go can be tricky.

So today, we will explain how you can easily win at Summoner’s Court in Hogwarts Legacy using a couple of simple tricks.

For starters, there’s an almost fool-proof way of ensuring that your ball will land on or near the blue-colored board. All you need to do is drag your ball until you reach the middle of the orange board. At this point, stop using Accio and let the ball roll. Most of the time, it will end up right at the start of the blue or near the middle of it.

Of course, in the more advanced sessions of Summoner’s Court, the board will be full of obstacles. In these games, all you need to do is find a lane for your ball that doesn’t have any obstacles in the way. Use different angles and viewpoints to find the optimal lane for each of your balls before shooting.

Finally, our last tip is to not try and knock an opponent’s ball off of the court. While this can work if the opponent’s ball is right on the edge, the balls in Summoner’s Court tend to move once they’ve landed in a spot. So if you think you’re going to get an opponent’s ball off the court by crashing into it, you will usually just put your ball in front of theirs, which is not optimal.

Those are all of the tips we have for winning at Summoner’s Court in Hogwarts Legacy. To sum up:

  • Drag your ball until it reaches the middle of the orange board, then let go
  • Find the optimal lane using different angles for your ball when there are obstacles
  • Don’t try and knock your opponent’s ball off of the board

We hope you all the best of luck in Summoner’s Court going forward.
