Everything to know about the WoW AWC Cross-Region Tournament

The esports action will go from July 23-24.

The WoW AWC Cross-Region Tournament will kick off this weekend on July 23 and feature the top four World of Warcraft teams of the North American and European regions.

WoW AWC Cross-Region Tournament

The tournament will feature a first round of matches during its two-day span. While Kawhi will duke it out against Casual Dads, SK Gaming will face Team Liquid. Afterwards, Kungarna will clash against Three and a Half Men while Cloud9 will battle CGN Esports.

The winners of this round will head into the upper bracket quarterfinals; the rest will have to climb their way to the top in the elimination bracket. All of the matches will be best-of-five, with the finals being a best-of-seven.

To catch the esports action, World of Warcraft fans can mark their calendars for July 23-24. The live broadcast will begin at 1 p.m. EST each day over on YouTube.

Fans who watch the AWC Cross-Region Tournament can also get the Fearless Spectator title. All they have to do is connect their YouTube and Battle.net accounts and watch two hours of the live broadcast.

More World of Warcraft esports

The WoW AWC Cross-Region Tournament arrives hot on the heels of the 2022 WoW AWC Grand Finals weekend, where Kawhi and Kungarna took home the gold for their respective regions. North American team Kawhi earned a 4-3 victory against Cloud9 in the tournament, while European team Kungarna swept SK Gaming 4-0.

Since Casual Dads, Team Liquid, Three and a Half Men and CGN Esports also made it to the top four within their respective regions, they earned a place in the WoW AWC Cross-Region Tournament.

Prior to the 2022 WoW AWC Grand Finals, more World of Warcraft esports action was seen at the WoW MDI Global Finals. Echo players became the five-time champions of this event.

Blizzard also announced The Great Push Season 4, which will kick off next month. Interested players have until Aug. 5 at 12 a.m. EST to sign up for The Great Push via GameBattles.
