More World of Warcraft esports
The WoW AWC Cross-Region Tournament arrives hot on the heels of the 2022 WoW AWC Grand Finals weekend, where Kawhi and Kungarna took home the gold for their respective regions. North American team Kawhi earned a 4-3 victory against Cloud9 in the tournament, while European team Kungarna swept SK Gaming 4-0.
Since Casual Dads, Team Liquid, Three and a Half Men and CGN Esports also made it to the top four within their respective regions, they earned a place in the WoW AWC Cross-Region Tournament.
Prior to the 2022 WoW AWC Grand Finals, more World of Warcraft esports action was seen at the WoW MDI Global Finals. Echo players became the five-time champions of this event.
Blizzard also announced The Great Push Season 4, which will kick off next month. Interested players have until Aug. 5 at 12 a.m. EST to sign up for The Great Push via GameBattles.
