It’s finally time to end the speculation. The community has been salivating for news on the Battle Pass and Season 1 for weeks, ever since reports came out that the update would launch on March 12. And it really seemed like it was going to when promotional content for the Battle Pass suddenly appeared on Origin clients. That, as it turned out, was a false flag.

We theorized why the early Origin release happened, but nobody knew for certain. The community was in shambles and protested as vocally as they could. They demanded answers. The developers responded with very little information. When Octane’s launch pads mysteriously appeared in-game a few days ago, people were both confused and excited. Was this another accident? Was it intended as a teaser for the real Battle Pass release date?

As it turns out, that’s exactly what it was.

The wait is over and we finally have our answer. Octane is coming to King’s Canyon and bringing the game’s biggest update with him — in less than 24 hours from now.
