The sandy beaches of Storm Point are going to feature more plundering.

Apex Legends is back with another mid-season event, The Raiders Collection. The event features pirate-themed cosmetics and voice lines, the debut of Wattson’s Heirloom and the return of the Winter Express on Dec. 7. Players will have the chance to earn Raiders items for free via the event battle pass and to purchase event bundles in the shop until Dec. 21.

Apex Legends introduces the Raiders Collection event

The Raiders Collection event mirrors the way that previous Apex Legends events have operated. A slew of pirate-based cosmetics will be available to purchase from the shop through event-themed bundles, while players can earn others via the Raiders Collection battle pass. These cosmetics are only available to purchase/drop for the duration of the event.

The trailer sheds a light on a few main agents – mainly Loba and Pathfinder, who are showing off their legendary event skins. Pathfinder in particular comes with some interesting voice lines that are displayed in the trailer. Another skin that takes center stage is the R-301’s – which features a rainbow feather on a golden gun with other rainbow accents. Revenant, Valkyrie, Bloodhound, Wraith, and Wattson are also featured with new legendary skins for the event. Each Legendary skin has a complementary weapon, either in the collection or the prize track. Players can earn 1,600 points per day and challenges refresh daily. There are also stretch challenges that reward four unique badges if players complete them during the event. Once a player unlocks all 24 collectibles, they will receive Wattson’s electric Heirloom, the “Energy Reader”.

The final part of the event will be the Winter Express, which involves three squads trying to board and capture the World’s Edge train. This time players will be able to customize their loadout before starting the game. Finally, the update also comes with several balance changes and several bug fixes to spice up the game this winter season.
