Respawn Entertainment announced it had discovered a game-breaking bug with the Mil-Spec skin on Bangalore via Twitter on Tuesday. If you have the skin equipped and choose Bangalore at the character select screen, your game can crash. Luckily enough, re-opening the game will reconnect you to your match and allow you to play.
We’ve discovered a bug with the new Mil-Spec skin that crashes the game at the character select screen if you have it equipped and select Bangalore. If you load back into the game, you'll still connect and be able to play. We're working to fix this as soon as we can!

“We’ve discovered a bug with the new Mil-Spec skin that crashes the game at the character select screen if you have it equipped and select Bangalore,” Respawn tweeted. “If you load back into the game, you’ll still connect and be able to play. We’re working to fix this as soon as we can!”
Mil-Spec animation for Bangalore seems to be the key
This bug has to do with a new animation that Bangalore has with the Mil-Spec skin. Normally, when characters are chosen at the character select screen, they do a little animation to convey that they have been chosen. The new skin and animation look to be the cause of the crashes that players are facing. Additionally, this isn’t something that only effects the player that chooses her, as every player that sees the new animation on the team faces a game crash.
Also worth noting that if a teammate selects Bangalore with the skin equipped, it also makes you crash back to main menu (you can still reconnect)

To put it simply, for the time being, don’t equip the skin if you want to avoid the crash. If you get a teammate who has the skin equipped, just relax if the game crashes and restart the game to continue. Updates on this fix will be posted below.
Another bug on the list
With this bug spotted and mentioned so quickly, fans were quick to talk about some of the other bugs that have stayed within the game. One of the most popular replies to Respawn’s confirmation of the bug pointed other issues out.

This list only scratches the surface of bugs that Apex Legends has, but crashing the game and preventing people from playing is a priority. Some of the other bugs mentioned are small things that should be fixed, but aren’t detrimental to the gameplay itself. These smaller issues include wrong weapon skin names and missing Twitch or treasure pack rewards. However, larger issues such as infinite rampage, the sentinel charge exploit and others should be next on the list for Respawn to fix.
