Apex Legends’ Pathfinder receiving new Twitch Prime skin, Swimming Buddy

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

It seems as though the next installment of the Apex Legends Twitch Prime skins is here. Every couple of months or so, Respawn teams up with Twitch to offer free skins to Prime users. This service has been ongoing since Apex Legends first launched, but it’s still going strong here in 2020. We’ve seen some fantastic skins in the past, including the most recent “Tribal Instinct” skin for Gibraltar. However, this time around, the quippy robot Pathfinder is the recipient of the promotion with its “Swimming Buddy” skin.

Claiming the Pathfinder Twitch Prime skin

As previously stated, all you need to do to earn the new skin is be a Twitch Prime user. One way to become a Twitch Prime user is to link your Amazon Prime acount with your Twitch account on the Connections page.

Once that’s done, you can navigate to the Apex Legends Twitch Prime page and claim the new, and some previous, cosmetics. Simply click “Claim Now” on the skin you want to collect and you will be prompted to link your EA account with your Twitch account.

Your EA account is the same one you use to login to Apex Legends on PC. If you’re a console player, you will have to link your console account with the EA account. After all that’s done, the skin will be waiting for you in your locker!

The Pathfinder Swimming Buddy skin is the newest cosmetic available through the service. However, it’s not the only cosmetic coming to the game in the next few days. There’s also the “Mixtape” Gun Charm arriving on July 20. To claim, follow the same steps above. Swimming Buddy can be claimed starting on July 16.
