Apex Legends is getting a major meta shift with its newest update for the Lost Treasures Collection Event. Earlier today, the developers hosted a Devstream where they went over the new event. Starting tomorrow, June 23, at 11:00 a.m. ET, Lost Treasures will introduce map changes and new cosmetics. However, it will also bring a huge update that alters Apex Legends significantly. A slew of legend buffs and nerfs are incoming, and they’re sure to cause some major changes to the meta. Let’s hop into the patch notes and see what Respawn Entertainment has planned.

If you would like to read the entire patch notes list, you can do so on EA’s newest blog post. We won’t list every single note, but we will go over the major changes that tomorrow’s update will bring to Apex Legends.

Of course, the first aspect to note is the Crypto Town Takeover, new event cosmetics, and the shiny new Mirage Heirloom Set. This information was already revealed at EA Play, but it’s worth reiterating if you missed that presentation.

In terms of new information, there’s a lot to unpack. However, the main attraction to many players is the numerous changes to 10 Apex Legends characters. Below, we’ll list some of the more significant changes to various legends.

Lifeline

  • Passive
    • Combat Revive now replaces Combat Medic.
      • Deploy D.O.C to revive teammates. D.O.C. will deploy a shield and revive Lifeline’s teammate, leaving Lifeline free to defend or revive someone else.
      • This fully replaces Lifeline’s old passive, including Fast Heal

Octane

  • Tactical
    • Upon activation, Stim will remove movement impairing effects.
    • Stim sprinting speed is increased by 10%
  • Ultimate
    • Players can now double jump in mid-air after using Octane’s Launch Pad
    • Players can change direction easily from the double jump.

Revenant

  • Tactical
    • Will now cancel:
      • Pathfinder mid-grapple
      • Wraith mid-Phase Walk attempt (before Phase Walk activates)
    • Will now prevent:
      • Mirage cloaked revive
      • Mirage decoy control activation
      • Lifeline combat revive
  • Ultimate
    • Range removed on Death Totem

Gibraltar

  • Fast Heal granted inside the Dome Shield, slowed down: 25% faster -> 15% faster

Wattson

  • Wattson’s Pylons now last for 90 seconds
  • Wattson can now have up to 3 pylons out at a time
  • Wattson can stack 2 Ultimate accelerants per inventory slot

Wraith

  • Phase Walk
    • Phase Walk now takes 1.25 seconds to enable (was 0.4 seconds).  During this time, Wraith will receive a 20% move slow

There are, of course, more changes to each Apex legend than what is listed above. However, these are the major notes that will affect each character once the update goes live tomorrow. In terms of other changes, the only one of any significance is to the Havoc assault rifle. The horizontal recoil on the first few shots is increased, and the magazine has decreased from 32 to 28.

That’s it for this update’s patch notes! Stay tuned to Daily Esports for coverage of the Lost Treasures event and all Apex Legends news.
