‘Cosmic Divide’ joins DIVIZE

“DIVIZE stands for more than just gaming. We are united under one name. We are the underdogs, ready to bite,” their website says.

“These guys are underdogs at heart. They hate being overlooked and so do we. It was a natural connection. We win. They win. Simple,” the website says. “Our goal for this team of brawlers is to gain notoriety in the Valorant scene as the team that never gives up and never stays down. It’s time to fight.”

While little is known about the organization, DIVIZE will field the newly signed VALORANT roster for upcoming tournaments. DIVIZE will compete in the upcoming North American VALORANT Championship Tour Stage 3 Challengers 2 Open Qualifier, which is set to begin July 22.

DIVIZE’s newly signed ‘Cosmic Divide’ squad will come up against ‘eclectiq’ in the first round of the qualifier. If they are the victors, DIVIZE will take on either ‘Down to Earth’ or ‘Indiana Syndicate’ in the second round. VIRTUOSO will likely take on DIVIZE if both win their first two rounds, also.

Cosmic Divide were the victors of the most recent NSG 2021 Summer Championships Open 12, which concluded July 21. The event, which included professional organizations such as Built by Gamers and Ghost Gaming, was the latest display of the roster’s talent.

Cosmic Divide took down Ghost Gaming in the grand final. The team won on both Split and Haven to finish the series 2-0. During the event, however, Cosmic Divide took down Teal Seal, arguably one of the most highly regarded semi-professional VALORANT teams in North America.

The first match for DIVIZE will likely be on July 22 for the upcoming VCT Stage 3 Challengers 2 Open Qualifier.

For the upcoming events, DIVIZE will field the following roster:

  • Corey “ChurmZz” Koch
  • Henry “Tsuya” Nguyen
  • Theodor “In0X”  Bjornsson
  • “Pwny”
  • “Jovahnii”
