Twitch Prime skin for Apex Legends’ Caustic leaked

This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information

This is an exciting time to be a fan of Apex Legends, as Season 4 looms and the Grand Soiree event is in full swing. There’s tons of content arriving soon with the upcoming event, giving gamers even more of a reason to play. However, one piece of content seems to have gone unnoticed with all of the recent excitement. The Twitch Prime promotion in Apex Legends is still ongoing, with Crypto’s exclusive skin disappearing soon. As one leaves, though, another arrives, and that new skin appears to be for everyone’s favorite villain, Caustic.

A look at Caustic’s new Twitch Prime skin

While nothing is confirmed, the evidence for the next Twitch Prime skin has been there for some time. If you navigate to the Apex Legends section of Twitch Prime, you can see the outline of Caustic for the next available skin.

As you can see, Caustic is clearly the next in line. However, we didn’t know what his skin would look like – until now. Thanks to @iLootGames on Twitter, we finally have an image.

Caustic’s new look seems to feature some royal gold and red while keeping his signature goggles and gas mask. It’s nice to see Apex Legends drifting away from the black and purple that donned a lot of the early Twitch Prime skins.

As for when we can expect it to drop, Jan. 16 seems like a good bet. Crypto’s Twitch Prime skin promotion ends then, which means the next promotion starts. That said, we don’t have any concrete evidence of this with the exception of Crypto’s end date.

When this does release, make sure your Twitch and Amazon Prime account are linked. Then, you’ll need to link your Origin/Apex Legends account with Twitch. After that, you’re all set to claim it.
