How the deck plays

Sky Striker is the undisputed best control deck option in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel. The deck thrives when it forces the opposing player to slow down and play to the Sky Striker players’ pace. The deck does this by using its extremely potent spell cards that act as disruptions when the opposing player attempts to make moves. Many of these spell cards are quick-play spell cards which can be activated on either player’s turn. The most powerful disruptive cards the deck has access to are Sky Striker Mecha – Widow Anchor and Sky Striker Mecha -Shark Cannon. These two cards are the bread and butter of the disruptive engine that can negate card effects and stop combo decks in their tracks.

The reason why this deck is so good is its unrivaled consistency. The strongest spell card in the game is Sky Striker Mobalize – Engage! which acts as both a search card for any spell in the deck and a draw card as well. There are many ways to access this card through the plethora of link monsters that allow Sky Striker players access to any spell card in their deck and graveyard.

Speaking of graveyard, Sky Striker Mecha Modules – Multirole lets Sky Striker Players bring back their spell cards each turn, which creates an endless supply of disruptions. If the game goes on for more than three turns, the Sky Striker player is an overwhelming favorite to win the duel.

How to get the cards

Thankfully for players wanting to play the Sky Striker deck, every single Sky Striker card is available in one specific Secret Pack. On top of that, many of the cards are actually low rarity outside the two UR’s the engine need. This makes crafting the remaining cards easy and cheap. It’s recommended that players craft the other non-engine cards instead of pulling them since they are scattered in many different Secret Packs. The one Secret Pack that contains multiple cards is the Spece-Time Transcendents pack which contains the Psy-Frame cards.

  • Singular Strike Overthrow
  • Space-Time Transcendents
