Sykkuno, a long time Twitch streamer with more than 4 million followers, announced on Tuesday that he will stream exclusively on YouTube Gaming starting Tuesday. The variety streamer known for his Among Us gameplay, Grand Theft Auto Roleplay streams and interaction with other streamers released a video explaining the move with the caption “it’s been a good run..”

In the video, Sykkuno talked about his backstory, how he started streaming in his parents’ shed and became popular with League of Legends content. Since then, he’s been a hit streamer with titles such as Minecraft, VALORANT, Among Us and GTA Roleplay. The video, which featured fellow content creators like Valkyrae and Jack “CouRage” Dunlop, ended with Sykkuno saying, “I am going to do what I have always done, just in a different place.”
Sykkuno is not new to YouTube. His channel of 2.65 million subscribers has been active since 2011, and he has been posting videos on and off for about 10 years now. His recent growth is mainly due to his collaborations with other streamers, such as Lilypichu and the rest of OfflineTV, as well as other big streamers such as Félix “xQc” Lengyel. He’s been part of several projects with big groups of other streamers, such as OTV Minecraft and Rust servers and GTA roleplay server NoPixel.
This move has been suspected by some fans who thought there was more to the emotional ending of Sykkuno’s last Twitch stream, which coincided with the two year anniversary of his Twitch partnership. There are, however, no further details about his contract with YouTube Gaming at this time.
