While they were challenged by Fnatic, the series against Vikings proved just how deadly this North American team is and how hungry they are to pick up the first-ever International VALORANT trophy.
They will face either NUTURN or fellow NA team Version1 next, and Michael “dapr” Gulino revealed to Upcomer that he’d rather play against Korea’s NUTURN in the upper-bracket finals over V1. Not only that, but he also spoke about how the different playstyles from different regions affect Sentinel’s own gameplay and what measures they’ve taken to best counter everybody. Sentinels’ in-game leader Shahzeb “ShahZaM” Khan said in the pre-event press conference that, “the Sentinels you see here is not the same as the one you saw at the regional playoffs,” and dapr added his own spin to the statement, revealing what he’s been focused on ahead of Iceland.
