Rocko release date confirmed for NASB

NASB gets modern with a throwback to the 90s

In celebration of the game’s first birthday, the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl Twitter account announced Wednesday when the next downloadable character will join the game. The release date of Rocko Rama in NASB will take place on Friday.

“Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl turns one year old today,” the tweet said. “From the entire team: we cannot thank the community enough for the love, support and feedback we have [received] throughout the past year, and are immensely proud to be part of the community. How does Rocko this [Friday] sound?”

When the developers first announced that Rocko from “Rocko’s Modern Life” would join the game, they did not show off any gameplay footage. Instead, they simply shared his character artwork. Likewise, Wednesday’s announcement did not show Rocko in-game. As a result, players will likely see Rocko in NASB for the first time when they are able to play him themselves following his release date later this week.

More about the Rocko NASB release date

Rocko will be the third DLC fighter to join the game as part of the Universe Pack, following Jenny Wakeman from “My Life as a Teenage Robot” and Hugh Neutron from “The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius.” He is also the fifth DLC fighter overall, following Garfield and Shredder from “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.”

Jenny, Hugh, and Rocko were all announced as DLC characters in May, with Jenny launching on the same day. At the time, it was only confirmed that Rocko would have his NASB release date sometime in the fall, while Hugh would join the game in the summer. Hugh ended up becoming playable in August.

Now, about two months later, Rocko is set to enter the game as well. The developers at Ludosity have not yet announced if they plan to add any further DLC characters after Rocko. However, the developers previously shared their intention to add crossplay to the game. As a result, players can expect more content on the horizon in some capacity.
