Juventus and Astralis Group partner to enter eFootball PES esports

Italian football team Juventus has joined forces with Astralis to enter the esports world. The team has recruited a trio of talented players to compete in the eFootball PES (Pro Evolution Soccer) 2020 tournament. The football club is one of ten teams competing for glory in the popular football game, which features a 3v3 player format on the professional scene.

Juventus partners with Astralis

Astralis Group, most known for its dominant CSGO team in the past two years, has helped Juventus get the team going in the esport scene in eFootball PES. Going forward, Astralis Group will aid Juventus in the operational management of the team. Given their experience in esports, it surely is the right choice for one of the biggest clubs in the world.

The team and upcoming tournaments

Ettore Giannuzzi, Luca Tubelli, and Renzo Lodeserto are the three players representing Juventus in upcoming tournaments and matches. All three players boast quite the resume, with Ettore Giannuzzi being at the forefront with a world title in 2011 as well as 2018. The announcement video features the talented trio sign contracts with Pavel Nedved, a Juventus football legend as well as Golden Ball winner in 2003. The team will compete in the eFootball.Pro championship alongside the likes of Manchester United and Barcelona. The competition kicks off on Dec 14 in Barcelona, Spain and runs until Apr 18. The top six clubs out of ten will then compete in knockout stage playoffs to crown one champion in the elusive competition. The team will also compete in the Italian esports league named eSerie A TIM, allegedly reserved for the top Serie A teams.
