How to summon pets in Last Epoch

Have a friend follow you around.

Last Epoch is now available in full release and you’re probably seeing every player with floating dragons around them. Well, that is a gift for those players who pre-ordered the game, but even if you did you might not be aware of how to summon it.

Summoning pets is a good way to spice up the game visually and while they don’t have any practical effects in battle, they do look unique. If you happened to pre-order Last Epoch or purchase a pet in some other manner, here is what you need to know so that you can start roaming around with your new pal in tow.

The process to equip pets in Last Epoch is simple and can be completed at any time by navigating the in-game menus.

Here’s a step-by-step look at how you can get your favorite little creatures to tag along on your next quest:

  1. Open the Inventory menu
  2. Navitage across to the Appearance tab
  3. Select one of the creature slots at the bottom of the menu
  4. Choose the pet you want to equip

That’s it! Now you should notice your friend appear near you in the game. If you’d like to remove this pet from following you then you can do that in the same menu by choosing “clear”. You can also purchase new pets from the in-game store by following the buttons found in the same tab.

You can have two pets equipped at any one time, however, any more than that and you’ll need to start choosing between them.
