How to get Vampire Underboss Skulls in Redfall

A main sticking point when progressing the story

During your first visit to a Safehouse in Redfall, you might look at the mission board and choose not to complete the two quests that are available. This is the bulk of the side content in Redfall, but many players will likely want to get on with the main story over completing a couple of random quests. However, the second of those quests offers you the chance to acquire Vampire Underboss Skulls in Redfall.

While it might not seem like it at first, these skulls are absolutely crucial to completing the main story quests in Redfall. You need three of them to challenge bosses, and as a result, players are curious about where they can acquire them. Below, we will explain all of the ways you can find Vampire Underboss Skulls.

As previously mentioned, the primary way of getting Vampire Underboss Skulls is to complete the second mission at each individual Safehouse. On the Redfall Commons map, there are five Safehouses, meaning there is a total of 10 side quests for you to complete. The first quest available at each Safehouse requires you to perform a specific task, such as taking down a vampire effigy.

Then, once you complete that quest, you can return to the Safehouse and accept the second quest. This quest always requires you to visit a location with a vampire boss at it. By killing this boss, you can pick up their Vampire Underboss Skull, which appears on their ashes after they die. Once you have that specific skull, you can move on to the next Safehouse and repeat the same process again.

The other way of acquiring Vampire Underboss Skulls is to liberate neighborhoods in Redfall. These kinds of tasks don’t appear too often, so we recommend that you stick with completing the Safehouse quests in Redfall.
