There has been an onslaught of new content coming every day since the launch of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 earlier this month. From the Battle Pass to the MrBeast Extreme Survival Challenge to Winterfest 2022, Fortnite players haven’t had a single lapse in content thus far. In addition to all of these new items and events, there’s also been the standard flow of Item Shop content. Some of this has been related to the various events going on in Fortnite, but other cosmetics have been one-off items, like the Master of Puppets Emote.
If you’re unfamiliar with heavy metal music, then you might not know what the Master of Puppets Emote is referring to. The name of the emote is a famous song by the band Metallica, and now Fortnite players have access to a piece of the band’s history. The emote itself turns your character into a rocket with a guitar and lights around them while a bit of the song plays in the background. If you want to own the Master of Puppets Emote in Fortnite, read below for more details.
Getting the Master of Puppets Emote in Fortnite
As previously mentioned, this emote is currently only available in the Item Shop. Players can find it near the top of the page, as it’s one of the newest items to enter the shop. It costs 500 V-Bucks and is sold as a singular item, meaning players won’t receive anything else with their purchase.
Once you’ve purchased the emote, you can equip it to any one of your emote slots through your Fortnite locker. There’s no word on how long the Master of Puppets Emote will last in the Fortnite Item Shop, so if you have some spare V-Bucks, it might be worth the purchase.
