The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have taken over Fortnite, and to complete one of their quests, you’re going to need to spend your Gold Bars at Mending Machines. If you’re not sure how to do this, we’ve found the easiest way to complete it.
The sewer-dwelling Ninja Turtles are the latest crossover to hit Fortnite, and with the new event comes plenty of challenges for players to sink their teeth into. While some are pretty straightforward, some players are confused by the Quest that asks them to spend Gold Bars at Mending Machines.
The easiest way to spend Gold Bars at Mending Machines
Mending Machines can be found in named locations across the map, but these are always busy and will have enemies around. That’s why I always look for a smaller, quieter location for Quests like this, and I think the best in the game for this one is a gas station in the southwest corner of the island.
Now all you need to do is spend 200 Gold Bars at the Mending Machine. This can be spent on any items there you need, including Shield Pots or Bandages. Once you’ve hit the number, a pop-up will appear telling you that you’ve completed the challenge, and you can then get on with the rest of the match.
Of course, if you don’t really care about completing the challenges too much, you can just roam around the map and play as normal, and spend your Gold Bars any time you stumble on a Mending Machine by accident.
