Fortnite’s annual Christmas event Winterfest is here, and as always, brings a special set of Quests for players to complete to earn a special pickaxe as a reward.
With free gifts every day during the Winterfest event, there’s no shortage of cosmetics you can gather up this holiday season. If you want the extra special Snowglobe Smasher pickaxe though, you’ll need to complete some challenges.

Every Winterfest 2023 Quest
There are 24 total Quests in the Winterfest 2023 event:
- Retrieve an item from a gift tossed by Sgt. Winter
- Destroy hacked Ship It! Express Drones at Hot Spots
- Visit a Ship It! Express location
- Deliver packages to their rightful destinations
- Investigate stolen present stashes
- Disguise yourself near Krampus and his present stash using the Sneaky Snowmando prop
- Set up a beacon at Krampus’s present stash for the Ship It! Express team
- Place festive snow creatures
- Visit Crackshot’s Cabin when the floating loot island appears
- Emote with Holiday Boxy or Sgt. Winter
- Help eliminate Krampus to save Winterfest
- Have a conversation with Holiday Boxy regarding the stolen boxes
- Land at Winterburg from the bus and secure a spot in the top 20 players
- Slide continuously with Icy Feet to cover a specific distance
- Use the Icy Grappler to travel a certain distance in the air
- Talk to Characters to receive free items
- Help search for Winterfest Present containers scattered across the map
- Consume Snowy Floppers or take cover with the Sneaky Snowmando disguise
- Emote on a dance floor
- Light off a firework
- Score hits on opponents using the Snowball Launcher
- Land in snowy regions in different matches
- Damage opponents while in a snowy region
- Damage enemy players with thrown items in the Ship It! Express LTM
Fortnite Winterfest 2023 Quests reward
Completing 19 Winterfest Quests will earn you the special Snowglobe Smasher pickaxe.
With a white handle wrapped in red ribbons, a big red bow, and a cute snowman inside a snowglobe, this is the perfect way to spread Christmas cheer by demolishing your opponent’s builds.

How long does Winterfest 2023 last?
Fortnite’s Winterfest lasts until January 2, 2024 at 9am EST / 8am CST / 6am PST / 2pm GMT.
After that, the event will end, and we’ll be looking forward to another exciting year of Fortnite content.
