How to change your character’s appearance and clothes in Skull and Bones

Deck yourself out in full pirate gear

When you first create your character in Skull and Bones, they’ll be wearing a dirty, cloth shirt, rough pants, and no shoes. This needs to change if you want to look the part of a pirate as you increase your infamy across the East Indies. Luckily, there’s an easy and quick way to change your character’s appearance and buy a new wardrobe for them in Skull and Bones.

You’re able to fully alter what your character looks like as well as buy a whole array of clothing for them at a single location. This location opens up to you within the first hour or so of the game, so you don’t have to wear your dirty attire for too long. To see where to go and how to change your appearance in Skull and Bones, keep reading my guide below.

Fortunately, you can change your appearance and buy/equip new clothes at the same location, which is located in the pirate settlement of Sainte-Anne. Sainte-Anne is where you go after completing your first quest at West Island in Skull and Bones, so you should arrive there fairly quickly.

Once you’re in Sainte-Anne, complete all of your quest objectives around the island first so you can have enough silver to buy new clothes. After you feel you have enough silver, head to the shop called “Vanity Atelier,” which is located in the central part of Sainte-Anne.

Here, you meet Florentine d’Alesso, a stylist of sorts who can change your physical appearance and sells new items of clothing. You can choose either option depending on what you want, but I would go straight for the new clothing section, as there are a ton of items to buy.

You can buy a clothing item for just about every part of your body, including a hat, eyepatch, shirt, pants, belt, shoes, jewelry, tattoos, and more. Of course, all of these items cost silver, so make sure you’re not spending more than you want. If you change your physical appearance, you’ll also spend some silver, but not nearly as much.

And there you have it, that’s the easiest way to change your appearance in Skull and Bones.
